Excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join this fast growing retail organisation based in Chertsey, Surrey.

Main Responsibilities;
- Inputting invoices and credit notes onto Sage Line 50
- Routine supplier queries, dealing with duplicate invoices and sending out remittances.
- Checking and updating supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Matching, Batching and coding of all invoices.

Person Specification;
- Sage Line 50 experience is a strong bonus but not essential.
- Basic understanding of VAT and credit notes
- Strong eye for detail as accuracy is more important than speed.
- Experience in Account Payable (AP) or Purchase ledger (PL) or Bought Ledger (BL) is a must

The role will report into the Account Payable Supervisor with a dotted line to the Finance Manager. This is growing business so room to grow further in the future is highly likely. This is urgent role with interviews to held on Friday 6th August 2010
